Several of these have popped up on ebay right now. Maybe it's the heat that brings 'em out.

Anyways. The idea of a roof rack on my FC isn't entirely unappealing. I could package most of the awning up into one roof box that I would then only need to take if I actually wanted the awning. It would also let me take stuff like spare camping chairs that just seem to be underfoot in the unit. Also, perhaps, a bike or two.

My unit is a Cardinal btw.
So then, two questions:

1) what is involved in mounting/unmounting the rack. I assume I have to remove it - and everything on it - in order to set up the FC?

2) how interchangeable are they? Do I just need a 'conway' rack, do I need one off a pop-up/hardtop, or do I need a cardinal specific one?

Thanks in advance folks!

My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

As a child my families menu consisted of two choices: take it or leave it.

There were some racks made for Conway folding campers, very rare, but there was one on ebay yesterday that appears to be one. No idea as to which camper/campers it  fits, though I have seen a home made one on a Lazer, attached directly to the roof.

it depends on how old your cardinal is have a look at the chassis underneath in front of wheels and behind if there are holes you can fit one mines a 92 and I cant the ones on ebay are for trailer tents at mo. if you do have the holes make sure you get one for a cardinal/criuser
