Just noticed in this month's C&CC mag that they are going to do a feature in their "from the archive" page on Dandies and are looking for stories and material from the past. They say you can contact them by email at fromthearchive at thefriendlyclub.co.uk or write to them at Club HQ.
Mine's far too new for them to be interested but I do know there's people out there with some interesting old material.

No ,the C&CC mag isn't online unfortunately. If and when the article appears I'm sure someone on one of the Dandy forums will scan it and upload it (I'm afraid I've pretty much given up on all the Dandy forums myself as I was wasting too much time - UKCS is now the only forum I allow myself!)
We use the Quechua when we're on a site for only a few days and found it ideal for storing table and chairs and odds and ends and even used it as a toilet/washroom tent on a no facility site, but for anything more than a week or so we still do like our proper Dandy awning as its nicer to sit in. There's photos of the different setups in my gallery.
I didn't even notice that the mag was doing a feature on Dandy's.
We just use a utility tent with Desmond the designer, though we do prefer a proper awning.
