Having failed to locate a 10mm locking wheel bolt for my Raclet trailer (to compliment my wheel clamp /claw) anywhere in the western world, I have been contacted by a reputable and experienced Chinese autoparts company. The cost of two bolts and one key(to fit existing brace)will be modest. However the size of even the minimum production run is a concern and I need a feel for the size of the market before proceeding further.I will be talking to trailer spares and parts stockists but in the end you campers out there will be the ultimate recipients.
Would any of you have a desire or a need for this small locking bolt set?
Depends on how you define modest cost :-) Having a locking wheel nut sounds like a good idea for additional security. Not sure the size on my nuts, but it is a Raclet Trailer also

As I have established all manufacturing, transport, duties, taxes, and handling cost, I expect the cost of 2 locking nuts and 1 "key" to not exceed £15 which will include local UK postage.
The bolts in question replace the standard 19 mm hexagonal head with a 10 mm diameter thread and 1.25 mm thread spacing, the thread it self is approximately 20 mm long and crucially the junction between the head and the thread is spherical.

Think of the locking bolts all motorist use to protect their expensive aluminum wheels from theft. This set is simply smaller and by reason of that smallness, less complex.
However my intention is that replacement keys will be available in the UK.
