Been a long time since I posted on here and back then I was in a tent, and a big one at that.

Times have now changed.

Have been looking at the Trigano Alpha.
I like the idea of the bed over the main trailer, and not just resting on what looks like a couple of match sticks, and also the height of the bed from the ground.

The living area is just about the right size too.

Are there any other makes that have this type of set-up?

Does anyone have the Alpha and if so is it the "dogs doo dahs" or the worst thing known to man.

The Alpha is virtually identical to the Combi Camp, and they've been going for years, Comanche do a similar one as well.

We've just bought a Combi Camp and I'll have more feedback to give when we get back from holiday in a couple of weeks!

We wanted a two berth main unit with both a side annex and rear awning to accomodate our two teenagers, but when we were looking the Alpha didn't have a side annex, although I believe Trigano were thinking about it and that may have changed. It is also slightly longer than then Combi Camp so wouldn't fit in our existing storage space. It has more underbed storage than the Combi though, and I think the axle might be in a slightly different position. For the first time we are having problems with nose weight, and it looks like the axel is further back on the Combi Camp than on our previous units.
