Hoping to pick the brains of the more experienced.

Weights - How do you find out the nose weight etc, we've never really bothered as the only thing we tend to carry in our is the awning, table, 4 chair and a gas bottle. Is there a gadget I can buy?

Secondly, side storage brackets - How?? lol How do get the tt on its side? Is it a difficult job, do people use them, I was thinking that at side angle may but pressure on the axle (I say axle, if that's the bar that attaches to the wheels lol)?

nose weight is simple a 12 inch piece of 3x2wood on top of a set of bathroom scales then sit your hitch ontop then take the weight of the wood away from the result but to answer your question yes you can buy a gadget....a nose weight gauge its called believe it or not :p

a side angle while tipping the trailer over would be much less than the sideways force of driving around a big sweeping bend (but the side storage brackets have a bit of frame extending that hits the floor while you tip it so the wheels are not realy taking the weight anyway

We used a side brackets on our TT all the years we owned it(27). It's very easy to put the trailer both onto the storage wheels and to place it back onto the axle wheels. My husband and I aren't in the first flush of youth but can do it quite easily. Once ypu get the momentum going its quickly done. Putting your T.T on its side saves loads of space in the garage and also makes the tyres last longer as they aren't taking any weight resulting in 'flat spots' on the tyre walls.

Gemmie82 Glad you are going to use side storage. To make it easier to 'tip up' the trailer we always used to strip out the canvas and mattresses. We stored these in the house over the winter which also had the added bonus of keeping them free of mildew and any possible rodent damage.
