I hope to be buying a 2 berth trailer tent shortly.

The choices seem to be between a Commanche Petit and a Raclet Solena

The commanche is cheaper as it doesn't seem to have many optional extras, unlike the Solena which has the option of an awning, a sun canopy and an additional bedroom.

At the moment I'm favouring the Solena, particularly as I only live a few miles from ABC Camping, who have one on display.

Anyone got any experience of either of these tents.

Have you heard of Micro Gem Trailer Tents ?

I hadn`t till just now !!

They are lightweight, aimed at motorcyclists but I would imagine ideal for a small engined car (Fiat 126 even !!)

I didn't say it earlier, but weight  (or lack of it) is most important to me as when not being towed by a Corsa  I hope to be towing it with a Hillman Imp or a Citroen 2CV.

   we have a solena it very easy to tow we use 1400 saxo, very quick to erect 

   we also have one for sale on the ad board ,  very nice trailer tent ,

I tow my Combi behind the Peugot 206. Also for lightweight consider the Trigano Arpege. It's about the same size as the Solena

I still prefer the Combi Camp out of all the options though.

Two solenas, there must be a story here, how did you end up with two.

 ended up with 2 solenas, family member asked me to get him one ,got him one to be told dont want it now. now  im left with it.
