We have had caravans, tents, TT's and FC over the years and all of them require setting up and packing away there's no easy way. All of them make you feel equally fed up when it rains!!! Yes caravan is probably the easiest when you arrive on site, but if you have children and dogs you still need an awning, which in turn takes time to set out, is unpleasant to put up/take down in the rain just the same as a tent or FC/TT.

Lets be honest we all love what we camp or caravan in when the sun shines but when it rains we always think something else would be better!!!

Plus you've had a fc.

We've gone from frame tent, to FC, then back to tenting, but considering the future options as we (well, me) get older.

We swung by Venture Caravans on our way down to Portsmouth a couple of weeks ago, just to see the Adrias.

Some pics:

Lovely. If we'd have had the storage and the towcar, who knows, especially as they'd some good deals on 2012's.

We just can't help thinking we can get a lot of holidays in France in a static, and still be kind of camping, for that sort of money.

Still pondering. They are super 'vans though.

If you were happy going to different sites in France and using the statics then I would say you will probably be quids in.

But if like us you like having your own "stuff" and want to maybe also do some touring and weekends then some of the lightweight vans like the Adria's have a lot to offer.

And there's the rub sunshine. We do like our own stuff, and with the grandkids, the appeal of the w/e's is a strong pull. Hence

For us it would be a great lightweight 2 berth/occasional 4 solution. Twenty years ago it would have been a done deal.

Lots to think about.

Looks good MrT007, I have also done the low level LEDs as well but not in the toilet.

Thanks djdigitalad, got a few more bits I want to do,and it's only cost under £25. but I would be rather using it more now.
Just come back from 2 weeks in Cornwall for the first time, it's the longest we've spent in it. Everything worked as it should so well happy, was going to put a plinth heater in, but we have a small 2kw heater that warms it up in seconds and cost around £10 so unless I pull one out a kitchen I'm not fussed.

I just came back from Cornwall as well, first time we had used the FC since we got it. I have the Warm Air Blower in mine but for some reason I cannot get it to work.

Ah we was at Carolyn bay, but was surprised as I only see a Pullman no others .
When I looked at ines with the air blown the chap near me that sells the fc's said they're ok, but the burn the backs of your legs, when on and you can't sit near it.
A small 2kw fan heater works well as you can point it where you want.
