A small rounded piece of transparent Tenacious tape on both sides of the hole is the norm.
------------- Silence is golden
Duct tape is silver

We have one, but it doesn't leak, so have left it alone!

It depends...sometimes the threads are unbroken but have just got disarranged a bit in which case they'll settle back next time they get wet. The vast majority of pinprick holes are due to this so give it the benefit of the doubt and see if it settles in next trip. Something that size will only let in a drop or two, if that.
If you've got a snakebite hole though where there is actual thread damage it can fray, so use either a tiny patch of Tenacious Tape or a tiny, tiny dot of seam sealant.
