Hello, I have the above unit and the fridge does not work on gas or electric. Does anyone have any ideas? also I have a couple of damp patches by the battery box, I have resealed around it and it has stopped the leak and dried out. Wondering if there is anything else I need to do or if can just leave it now it is dry.
Many thanks.

You say it doesn't work on gas - there's nothing to go wrong with that, really. How long did you try? The gas takes ages to bleed through on ours.

It may be obvious, but apart from the cylinder valve, there is probably another valve somewhere - ours is under the sink.

Again, maybe obvious, but I'll go through the lighting procedure:

Gas valve(s) on.
Open fridge door an peer into the little window towards the bottom left corner - this is angled so you can see the flame from a crouching position.
Control to max, and hold down.
After about 30s try to ignite, repeat every 5s or so.

Eventually, you should see a small blue flame in the window. It might pop and blow out a couple of times first. If you don't get any sort of flame then maybe the piezoelectric lighter has gone - do you get a good loud 'clunk' when you press it? I think you should be able to see the spark if you make sure you are in darkness.

Sorry, but that's about all I can suggest. I'd be very surprised if the gas cannot be got working quite easily though. The electric in another matter, neither the mains or 12v seem to work on ours.
