Hi All,

I have managed to knock off one of the round fastening points on my trailer tent where the cover is bungied to.  It is riveted on, so I can drill out the rivet, but has anyone repaired one of these before?

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I haven't actually repaired one on my TT but have done one or two on my normal trailer. Pretty straight forward as long as you have a rivet gun and rivets.

As you say just drill out the old one and rivet on a new one. If you haven't got the tools for the job I would think any local car mechanic would be able to help for a few quid.

If you have knocked it off, then it may have enlarged the hole a bit,so a washer on the back may be advisable. Otherwise, dead easy.
