Today I have bought a 1989 Conway Courniche DL. All looks in good working order, just a few minor repairs etc. Sadly there are no instructions as to how to put up/take down and the seller didnt really have a clue as to how it worked. Does anybody know where I can find instructions or if there are any videos etc?
Thanks

Hi there ,have you had had a look on ebay ? May not have the exact model but most tt of the same make have the similar set up. Have you had a look on the "Conway owners" website ? It shows diagrams and information for Conway trailer tents all models and ages.
Here's a linkto a rather silly video of OH and I putting up our Conway Camargue a few years ago. There's another similar one here. They're not exactly detailed but they'll give you the general idea.

Brilliant Valk_scot, especially the Benny Hill soundtrack....
Thank you! Btw, the small boy taking his football for a walk is now a strapping six foot teenager so nowadays he's the one helping his Dad put the TT up. Train 'em up young!
Thank you! We did it and it's fab! Although it could do with a good clean, think im going to search for a cleaning company though and have it done proper!

I've just bought a Pennine sterling folding camper. Needs a bit of tidying up. My first folding camper. There are no instructions . Anyone know where I can get some.

Val do you always keep the awning zipped on? I would have though it would put a bit of a strain on the framework?
Me? Yes, we almost always leave the awning on, except if we have to pack up in the rain when going home. We'll take the awning off so we can dry it more easily if required. On the last camp of the year we take the entire canvas off so we can store it indoors. But otherwise it stays on, we've (and the previous owners, who we know well) have been doing that for over two decades now and the frame is absolutely fine. Just make sure the awning canvas is well clear of the hinges of the cabin poles though a good six inches, as you fold the canvas over. Otherwise you can end up with pinch holes in the canvas.
It's definitely quicker if you have an awning in multiple sections, I don't think it would save much time if it was a one piece awning. But it is less stressful on the zips if you leave the canvas on I think.
