There is no such thing as a digital aerial, it is simply a term used by companies to trick people into thinking that they need a new aerial to receive digital transmissions.
If you are in a poor reception area you may need a high gain aerial, but this also applied to analogue signals.
I bought a dish took ages to set up etc so I took it back bought a normal high gain areial never had it on a pole and only half built, never had a problem yet with signal nor picking anything up.
------------- Up there for thinking, down there for dancing. 😎
I also use the laptop dongle and it works great. The only place I have encountered problems was in norfolk.I like the laptop route as the laptop is a music system.dvd player and tv with a Freeview dongle and its aerial,I dont bother with a tv anymore its gathering dust upstairs.Morrisons do a square type aerial which also works well with a tv look in their entertainment dept its under the Lowry brand.Hope this helps.Cheers.Alex
