I need a winter cover and cannot decide wether to buy a pennine one which is £160 or a universal kampa one at 99.00. Has anyone made a comparision. cheers
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I have the Pennine one ... it's very good ... haven't tested the Kampa ... so can't really offer a comparison.
However, if Kampa cover owners are vouching for its quality ... and, given the price differential, it seems a no brainer?
I have the Kampa one too. I can't compare it to the Pennine one, but it seems to do the job. It's quite papery and I've already torn a small hole in it so I don't expect it to last 10 years. But I don't expect to have the FC for 10 years either. HTH
The pennine version is pretty tough ... narry a tear or hole in six years ... has straps that go underneath and a pull cord for all the way round ... pretty good piece of kit.

Our kampa one has that too! getting quite good at throwing them to the other side underneath! we are quite rural and does get quite windy but never had a problem. I was worried all that snow last winter would ruin it but seems fine.
