We are selling our caravan and are thinking about a folding camper , we are thinking about a pennine fiesta but only want to use a lightweight porch awning are any available and can you tow a folding camper on a driving license that was just passed in the last year? Thanks
The gross weight of the vehicle and trailer must be under 3500kg, so you should be ok as long as your tow car isn't too heavy. I can't see it being any problem.
info on towing and Licences is in latest issue of C&CC magazine

Personally we found the Fiesta awning pretty easy to put up after a history of frame and then trailer tents. We only don't bother if it's an overnight stop or we are too tired when we arrive. I think the main unit is pretty small for anything longer than a night although we did see someone this year who had a Conway Countryman and didn't put the awning up all week. They did sit outside a lot though.

there are no porch awnings made for them, you have to do it yourself.or contact Lisa to do you one.
as to towing yes you can tow a fiesta on a new licence.you can drive a car upto 3500kg and still tow a trailer up to 750kg.or you can tow a heavier trailer up to the kerb weight of the car but the two can not be heavier than 3500kg combined.
I would have thought the awning on a fiesta /countryman would be small anyway compared to a crusader /pathfinder awning ,and would not take that much putting up anyway ,or am i missing something
