Hi guys loved our first season with the TT lots of great holidays
And I hope next years weather is as good!
I want to sort out a few niggles over winter one of them were the awning pole springs some are abit stretched and made putting them together abit of a pain!
I'm wondering if its worth replacing the stretched springs with new springs or pull them out and run in some bungee cord or does anyone use anything else
Cheers pete
I got quite a nasty cut on my hand pulling out the awning pole springs...please don't ask how, it all happened very fast and I still can't fathom how it happened. I even bought the proper tool, but ended up using a pair of pliers.
They really are nasty things. Unfortunately, some later Conways had larger diameter polework, and the generic pole springs don't fit well,so you may have to remove the old ones to reuse. Gloves and goggles recommended!

If you put the opole with the spring on the floor and put your foot on it and pull is the safest method we have found here. That way you are not going to hurt your hands or possibly face
