Hi All Does anybody use a mini oven in their TT? If so which one do you have and would you recommend it? We are taking our TT away for a longer holiday in the summer and want to do more than the usual 2 hob meals! TIA Kerry

We have a Lidl mini oven (£20 or there abouts)that we used when we didn't have an oven in the unit.
I did find though that it got too hot for it to sit on a normal worktop. So we bought a folding aluminium table for it and that worked great.
These mini ovens are ideal for heating up pies etc, but I wouldn't use it for cooking a meal or baking where accurate temp and time is essential.

I don't have one now but I used to have a Cookworks oven from Argos and found it very good in my tent. It cost about £30 at the time but that was a few years ago.
I found it to be great just for myself but you would struggle to feed a large family due to the size. They are good though and have an element at the top and one at the bottom. You can use either or both so if you want to make toast or grill something you just use the top element. If you want to heat or bake you can use both. I found I could do a whole dinner and things I would normally boil or heat on the hob can be done inside in a foil dish...so very versatile.

I bought a remoska (from lakeland), it was great. We have a halogen oven, but as others have said, they get very hot.

I also have a mini oven which I use when camping or away in my little caravan. I also use a small slow cooker.
These, combined with my suitcase stove and BBQ means I can cook loads of different meals.

I got one from Currys, a Logik one. It's about the same size as the one in GO,but has a grill function. It's brilliant.

Or alternatively, move to Argyll and you can have ours for nowt as we now have a van with a full oven and no longer need our mini oven.
