take with you some electrical tape, that way you can re-new any pole markings.
Also take a permanent marker, once you have the awning on and everything set up, mark the poles to where they need to be extended to, this helps for next time.
I have some of these attached to the end of all of my guy ropes, you can detach them when packing up - useful if its been raining as guy ropes take longer to dry plus its tidier.
Have some of these spare, when we put ours up, several of the threads of the awning poles wouldn't tighten so we needed about 4.
I took the poles into camperlands to buy mine, so I could buy the right size.
We put up the main cabin up and zipped on the awning then threw it back over the main cabin - we then built the frame and pulled the awning back over the fully constructed frame.
Some adjustments will need to be made to make it all sit properly, once done, that when you use the perm marker for next time.
Forgot to say, before you peg everything down, make sure the awning storm flap is covering the zip where the awning is attached to the main cabin
