I thought the same Lobey. It's the usual thing, after going into administration, a new company emerges having bought out the viable parts of the old company. Whether they honour warranties can be a grey area. Worth a check once the phones are up and running.

When a company comes out of Administration, it is as a completely separate Trading Entity. Which means that all the debts and responsibilities including those of Warranties, are left with the Old original Company. To allow the new Trading Company a fresh unencumbered start.
Which means it will be at the discretion off the New Company, who have not inherited the responsibilities of the Old Company.
The better New Companies, will honour warranties from the Old Companies, but there is no Legal Responsibility to do so.
Hopefully the New Company, wishing to set a store of Good Willing with previous customers of the Old Trading Company, will honour the warranties, so building up potential repeat customers. It's good business sense, especially in times of economic downfall.
