Hi. I have a 2005 Pennine Pullman folding camper. The existing tap assembly has a leak in the white plastic threaded section that protrudes below the sink. It seems to be a sealed unit so basically I am looking at a new assembly. The only one I can see in the Pennine Spares catalog looks different. I emailed the company but have realised that they are no longer trading. Does anyone know whether the one listed is compatible with all models and if so can it be bought anywhere else?

Part number: PWA00057

Water Tap Mat-Nickel

Any help appreciated.

Hi, I had the same problem with my Pennine Pullman last year. The replacement is slightly different, and at first I thought it would not work as it was set up for right side of basin, which meant tap control stopped lid from closing. However by turning spout through 180 degrees and making suit left hand side of basin it works without a problem.

If the phones are back this week and it is still the same lady who answers phone then you will find her very helpful.

Hope this helps

Paul

I replaced mine last year, too. Looked different, but worked fine.
Same reason as you ... over tightening the locking nut is the main reason for leaks on the old version. I tried all sorts of sealants ... but never solved the problem. New tap works fine.

glad to hear pennine are coming out of administration we love our pennine. We had our taps replaced a couple of years ago though by an employee of a former pennine dealer who was servicing privately. The Tap circumference was too small for the hole in the sink and he has bodged it with a rather large rubber washer could do with finding the right taps.
