Very easy altogether until the very last part to stretch the awning canvas fully when we need a stool or similar, so that one can pull/push poles and one to tighten the connectors, but it isn't a great difficulty. We're both on the short side too (5'4 and 5'8). Excellent quality tent. The only design features we'd change are the front door zip position (no huge problem though) and I did sew the two parts of each side of the front curtains together as they were skimpy and gaped (why so mean with the material, Cabanon?). We preferred our fantastic old Conway Corniche, which was perfect, endured 26 family holidays and had no design faults at all for us, but the Cabanon Stratos is a very good substitute.
Oops, sorry. I am talking about the Stellar!! Blame my age.
We have the neptune which is a bit bigger than the stratos and has the extra pole for the kitchen area. Its a lot easier to put up than our previous raclet jade as its only got 4 poles.
I reckon its about an hour to put it up with two of us.Last october we used it in the stormy weather and had to completely peg it down so it took another 30 minutes.
This was only a weekend break too
Normally i wouldnt put them all in as its solid anyway.
The wind didnt affect it at all and im surprised at how stable they are.
Really sorry for late reply, was not here over Easter. We are putting it up for sale, just deciding on price etc now. Will be emptying it this weekend, weather permitting, and all should be a go from there. Would send you a private message but don't think this forum allows it? Will ensure I check back in daily in future!
svmel send a PM through admin here. Just ask admin to send it to whichever members username you want with the message you want to send to that member and admin will do the rest.
oggdog1952 I will send a message through admin with some contact details. We are hoping to have a dry weekend this weekend to enable us to empty the Stratos of our stuff. Hopefully will also manage to set up and take some pictures for you if that helps? Sale definitely happening.
