Good morning everyone,

I have read reviews on the Icarus 500 and a few people mention that the poles seem to split.

I am camping as from today and this is the first time I will be using this tent,

I haven't got any spare poles so if one splits what would be the best way of repairing it (gaffer tape) ?

We had the odd pole split when we had an Icarus, usually by over-flexing it when putting it over the pin. Gaffer Tape wrapped tightly around the split did the job until we got home, when I replaced the damaged section.
