Hi I wonder if someone can offer me some advice, I bought a Pennine 510 Stirling 2006 Model last year (2013) but have only just got it out to use. I am having problems getting the gas cooker to work, it appears gas is not getting from the bottle to the cooker. I have checked the bottle and gas is coming out, I think the problem is either with the regulator or I am not plugging something in right a turning something on. Any advice would be much appreciated.

you have obviously turned on the shut off valve by the regulator? and the bottle itself, could possibly be some sort of dust build up in the pipework[clutching at straws!! maybe a good blast of air through the pipe could clear any blockage,

There are also two shut off valves in the cupboard under the sink, one for the fridge and one for the hob unit, is the cooker one turned on properly ?.

Thank you for your replies, both the valve on the regulator and the valves under the cupboard are inline with the pipe, so I assume this is the "on" position, I will try giving the pipe a blast of air.

Thank you.

Bulkhead regulators are problematic sometimes. Do you have gas to the fridge?

Around 2004 - 2007 tere were problems with propane regulators that had to be changed. Probably a faulty batch. I had tp replace mine on a 2006 Raclet and I understand (from dealer) it also affected may carravans also. Best change regulator for peace of mind.

Hi all thank you for your replies, only just had chance to try it again, and "coalhog" was correct, I turned the Gas on and left it for about 30secs, then tried the Gas and it worked. Thanks for the help, now I need to figure out how to get the water running! It's a Whale Watermaster system, I have plugged in the socket, inserted the pump, turned the tap on but nothing!! One of these days I will get it all working!

Hi .not sure if its the same but on the cruiser there is also an electrical isolater for the pump. Is your other 12v working ok? Ie light sockets. If you have a friend with a camper or caravan ask if you can plug into there socket to try the pump as they are a pretty standard plug and its the easiest way to check. Check the connections at the tap if you can get to them (Where the micro switch is) Are the plug and socket prongs clean and tight? Hope this helps ....Gcb
