Silly question time - I have seen quite a few FCs for sale with accessories including porta loo (not the built in ones). If you take a porta loo with you where do you put it? We do have a porta loo and toilet tent so could use that but I just wondered if there was another option (ie putting it in the awning somewhere).
(I am spending far too much time thinking about all this at the moment btw)!!
Thanks. When we have used the porta-loo in the tent hubby has got annoyed when anyone goes to use it because there are 4 zips to undo and refasten and he is a very light sleeper!
We put areas in the awning, just brought a shower curtain so we can divide it of ,have got a net curtain rail so we can hang the curtain of a pole from the awning.
Same as above, have portaloo and porta sink and set up small wash room in the awning with shower curtain divider if using porch awning and if using main large awning put inner tent up for larger wash room area.
We bought a cotton toilet tent last year that we put in one of the corners of the awning. The first year we used a shower curtain, which was ok but the Countrymans middle roof pole was too far away from the side pole, which made it hard to secure a proper sectioned off piece.
We have the same dilemma re night time, noisy zips, it's amazing how loud they sound at night. Putting the toilet inside by the door at night is probably the easiest thing to do.
Thanks, yes, putting it just inside the camper door on a night is a good idea. I did wonder if our existing toilet tent would fit inside the awning or if it would be too tall. I guess its a bit of trial and error.
I have the Royal cotton double toilet tent and it fits exactly along one side of my pennine fiesta awning. Big enough to get changed in too.
Since I bought the Outwell Country Road awning for the camper, I now have a Quechua pop up toilet tent and it fits inside the link between the cabin and the awning!
We used to have a toilet tent but moved the loo into the awning., mind you i thought my wife was crackers having me move the loo to the door opening but it seems we are not alone
We took the shelf out of the cupboard by the door, the portaloo lives in there during the day and we bring it out at night and sit it in front of the cupboard. We have a countryman

We also have a pop up toilet tent which fits on the outside of our FC in the cut out corner section.
These pop up tents are easy to set up as they just 'Pop Up' but try packing them away makes for good campsite entertainment, takes only a second to 'pop up,' but half an hour to pack away into its three circles so it can fit into the circular holder bag. Anyone else had fun trying to pack these pop ups away.? How do you get on ? We couldn't stop laughing.
