I got this at the weekend from go outdoors. You put in on the gas hob.
Anyone used it? Is it good? Or have I wasted a couple of quid?

If it is the 4 slice toaster with a metal plate at the bottom and wires holding up the toast I am surprised they are still selling them as they are absolute rubbish. Mine went in the bin the same day I bought it. The bread goes dry before it gets anywhere near toasted...could do it quicker with a cigarette lighter!
However, if it is the one slice folding toaster that looks like a little grill pan then they are brilliant. They only do one slice at a time but they toast it so fast that you can churn them out quickly.

its just all about timing, you set it up, put it on, then go for a four hour walk.
Come back, turn the bread over, then have a four hour nap and hey presto you wake up to lightly toasted bread.

If it is the multi slice one,never mind,most of us have tried it,and now we all have recycle bins there is always a place for them. The single version is ok,I've found.
