Hi Kate yes very easy just place cooker on table near to external gas point and plug cooker hose in there , only thing to watch out for is splashes on to canvas, though i suppose ,that is the same as when inside, we have only done this once ,and have found no problem cooking inside, the mesh window near the cooker gets rid of all smells and find the sink handy for putting pans and utensils in .

I have grilled and warmed things up in our folding camper but I won't fry as I don't want to splash the canvas as well, so we use a one burner 'camping thingy' (if you know what I mean) I place it on a camping table and fry outside.  If it's raining I grill the bacon in the camper with plenty of ventilation then wipe out the grill inside and out.

The Pathfinder has 3 rings and an oven + grill.  We had problems with the veneer to the left of the rings ( toilet wall) bubbling - we spoke to Pennine and they sent 2 extra stick on metal strips, like the one at the back and the problem is now solved.  I didn't fancy having a BBQ so close to the canvas in the awning (splatter problems?) - so we passed our small gas BBQ on - what an idiot!  Have regained my senses and bought a good one to use well away from the unit and canvas.

Hi
We took out Pennine Pullman out for the second time last weekend and used the cooker to fry bacon. i was more concerned about the excessive smoke and lingering smell afterwards, It was folded up shortly afterwards and am worried that as soon as we open it up next time there will be this horrible burnt bacon smell. I dont think there was a problem with spitting as we had the glass up at the back and also there is a side panel that fits onto the cooker. We did have problems with the awning poles, the little bits on the plastic fittings keep breaking off and as we were taking it down a pole fell out and came crashing down onto the inside of the door and made a nice dent. Not too happy - we are hoping that our dealer might be able to get us a replacement door due to the faulty poles.

Other than that it was a fine weekend

Maybe you have already thought of this but we use a splashguard on our frying pan to stop spitting. You get these for about £1 in Tesco or other places. We wouldn't go without it.
