We saw one in the flesh at the NEC in Feb. They look good and we are contemplating getting one as we have a slope on our drive, neither of us are getting any younger and I've already had two rounds of back surgery! Just wish they were a little cheaper

and five nights in the one man tent!
Im trying to weigh up pros and cons.
You can take it to another unit. No additional weight. Depending on what mover you go for it might work out cheaper. I won t need to squeeze into 1ft gap to access battery box. Its easy to charge up.
Im not sure if its manoeverability is as good as a normal mover but if i can judge a tight garage door gap it might work.
Thanks for advice.
Gary
From looking at the various videos it seems very manoverable

I think they are around £900 which is very close to having a normal one fitted. Some campers require additional brackets wbich can add nearly £80 on top.
I will let you know how i get on. Let me know what you decide.
Trouble with my unit it weighs n early the same as a small caravan did 20 yrs ago.

Because friction is virtually dependent on the force between a driver and surface, this unit's tractive grip will be less than a main wheel drivers. Simply because there is less weight being carried by it; the Achillies heel of hitch movers. maybe in your application it will be enough, maybe it will not, defitily a sale or return purchase that needs testing in wet conditions.
Hi I have a Camper trolley to move my Conway cardinal trailer
I could not get a motor mover fitted so went for this,it moves the
Trailer on and off my sloping drive between gate posts with 6"
To spare each side easily .

I need to judge 1cm on both sides of garage door.
I did see on a video that if the grass is wet you needed to give it a bit of a push then it went ok.
Am i getting weaker at 45 or are things getting heavier.
