We’re considering buying a trailer tent. We've currently got a young daughter (18 months), so hoping she’ll enjoy camping and exploring new places. We’d also be wanting to take the tent further afield – France, Germany, etc.
The model we've been looking at is the Camplair S, but I can find relatively little in the way of reviews about them, and what I’ve seen in the forums seems mixed. Does anyone own one? Would they recommend?
Would also appreciate any general views about trailer tents and young families?
Hi, sorry I can't help with your query, but I just wanted to say "Hi & welcome to the forum" I've also bumped your post back up to the top, so hopefully someone who can advise you will see your post now
Big traditional tts are great for families, kids love the underbed "dens" and you get a lot of room for your money.
Great for long stays.Big beds. Camplair are trigano's budget range and are pretty new on the market,so reviews are rare, but at least with trigano, you can get good dealer support, unlike some other makes.Personally,I would go for a second hand if it's the first one,you would lose a lot of money if you decided it wasn't for you.

Hi there,
We've got a Camplet Concorde, TT,and we love it, we've got two girls,(8 and4) and they love the whole adventure about camping, albeit we have the comforts of electric hook up, two double beds and kitchen. I know it's not the model you are thinking about, but I say go for it, you won't regret it.. Neither will the kids!
