Hi everyone, looking forward to the new season. Just put up my cruiser (1993)and one job needs to be done is an overhaul on the cabin frame. Mainly the push clips to add tension to pole are broken or jammed. I live in Dorking in Surrey. So i wondered if anyone knows anyone who fixes trailer tents. Mobile fixer would be best. Can upload some photos.
The other thing I notice some mildew on canvas, any idea on how to clean this would be good.
Thank You
Grant
Push clips and pole springs are relatively easy to do yourself and both can be ordered from Ebay and other online retailers if you do not have a local supplier.
As for mildew,Iosso mould and mildew remover is good and doesn't contain bleach unlike milton and er,bleach! It's very expensive about £30 from ebay and £40 elsewhere. It shouldn't fade the canvas either. It has done a great job on my steadily less of a bargain Cabanon.

Do you have to take the canvas off to take the poles apart to fix the new clips?
I've got a Raclet so different to yours but with mine I've replaced quite a few of the push buttons on the cabin poles with no need to remove any canvas.
If you have enough slack to get the poles ends parted then you can change the push buttons, a pair of needle nosed pliers is all you need or failing those a decent pair of tweezers.
