Hi just spent the day cleaning our new pennine pullman 535 1996 model after setting it up and cleaning it all out I had a play but have a couple of questions.
1- The fridge has been on for 3 hours on mains the motor at the back is hot the freezer compartment is getting very cold but the main fridge feels the same??
2- anybody know how to use the propex heater?
Going to leave it up for a few hours now as it's just had a good soak with the hose so any info would be great thanks
Hi, the fridges do tend to take a while for the gases to get round especialy if it has not been used for a while and quite normal for the motor to be warm.
Hi put a fridge thermometer inside the fridge and leave for a while and see if the temperature alters, our fridge doesn`t feel that cold but when we put the thermometer in for a while you see that it is working fine, it will not be as cold as your house fridge

Ok thanks will give it a go to be honest if it keeps my little ones milk ok and a few beers chilled that will be good enough for me can't wait to get away on in it but few more bits to do first thanks
The answers have been useful as we had the same problem with ours in our Conway Cardinal.
On gas, we noticed that it took quite a few hours to get to feeling cold, but on electric it seems to take forever. I might invest in a thermometer to check the temp is going down !

I find that putting cold or frozen items in the fridge helps to bring the temperature down more quickly. It probably won't feel that cold if there's nothing in there.
No vent covers and to be honest it wasn't to bad level wise will try the putting frozen things in the weekend to bring the temp down quicker thanks for the advise dose any one know about the propex heater? Thanks
