Hi, we've just bought a 2000 model Trigano 575tc, we've had a week away in it already and loved it but can't figure out a couple of things and can't find any info on the net.
Does anyone know where the external bbq gas point is? The seller said it had one but we can't find it. Also how does the gas fridge work? I can see the dial and lighter but can't work out how we know if it has lit, I can see what looks like a peep hole at the left rear but couldn't see anything in there when I tried to light it.
Are trigano has not got an external bbq gas point are is about a 2004 model I think. Never used the fridge on gas always used it on electric so can't help you their.
Hi,we've got a 2006 lx model which I believe the only difference that the tc has the toilet.Ours hasn't got a bbq point and all the searching we did on different sites looking at a few tc models,I can't recall any of them having that item.
If the gas fridge is anything like the ones I have had in Pennine campers they are quite difficult to light. Make sure the electric power is off and make sure your supply is on - there may be a tap somewhere, in Pennines it is under the sink.
Get down on your knees and get a good angle on the peep hole turn the gas knob to maximum and then hold down. Press the piezo ignition switch repeatedly until you can see a blue flame in the window. Be patient it can take time. Once you can see a blue flame just hold the knob down until it is stable (10 seconds or so) then you can let it go.
I suggest leaving it on maximum for a couple of hours to cool down quickly and put your food in straight away especially if you still have any ice packs frozen.
Also get the van serviced especially the gas parts if bought privately
AS above most work by flicking rocker switch onto gas if applicable and then turning round the dial holding in and repeatedly pushing the piezo round button until you get a blue pilot falme i that small peep hole window.
If it hasn't been used for a long time on gas may take a a while
Do ensure vents are clear and you have a CO alarm on board if running with gas
Unit needs to be pretty level also which I would guiess isn't a problem here!
