Last year i was impressed with the Opus foldable camper, featured on BBCs The Apprentice, however was taken aback at the price tag £10,999 plus the extras. Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative? Im interested in anything that stays compact and within itself. Have previously used a traditional trailer tent, where the sleeping was in the trailer then a large add on tent that was the living area. Any ideas? Cheers.
I guess you are looking at a folding camper, but unless you get a second hand one, they are the same price or more expensive! I really like the look of the Opus too, but its very expensive!
We were going to get an Opus, but with one thing & another backed out. We ended up getting a 20 year old FC for £10k less.
It is also a lot bigger.
We are happy how things turned out.
