Hi

I have this loverly old conway cruiser folding camper. One of the front driving lights isn't working, the lights is ok . Does any one out there know where the connectors are? Are they under the floor or behind the walls. Thanks

You say the bulbs are ok but have you checked the socket? The sockets on ours were corroded and a rub with sandpaper cleaned them back up.

If it's like our old Crusader then the black 7 pin cable goes under the chassis and the front light wires are spliced into it just behind the A frame. The splice was all sealed up with black tape.

If you can crawl, under the camper and look for this connection - it could be that the water has got into the connection and damaged the spliced wire.

Over the years I've found the back plug tends to fail fairly regularly. They cost a couple of quid to buy and reasonably easy to fit. Probably the best starting point.

If you can you can use a multi-meter to test the circuits through.
