Hi,

I'm looking for some help. When I picked up my 2011 Trigano Alpha from a dealer in the Netherlands, they said there was a bike rack that could be permanently attached to the TT. I bought the Trigano official parts and can't even get them to fit.

Does anyone have any experience of owning a hard top trailer tent and being able to achieve what I'm trying to do? I don't want to have to take the bike rack bits off when I open the TT. Any suggestions would be great!!

Thanks
Tom

Hello Tom,

I don't know about the Trigano, but I can recommend a camplet.

We bought a second hand camplet in part because we needed a hard top for a bike rack. My husband has a special trike (due to mobility problems) and we can't get it on a car roof (even if we had the strength to lift it up that high!) The camplets have hard tops. We had to buy the bike rack separately from Camperlands and it was a pain to work out how to fit it on (as the minimal instructions were not in English) but once fitted it has served us well for 2 years now. It is fully attached and you don't have to remove it when you open up the tent. For us it has been great.

Our rack takes 4 bikes in principle, but the trike takes up the space of three on ours.

good luck,

Mel
