Hi.

My wife an I are pretty experienced campers and decided for comfort to upgrade to the above trailer tent which we brought on Monday..

We love the compactness of it and we got it from a local dealer for what we believe to be a fair price for the outstanding condition of it.

I have no real concerns, although I have never towed before, I am having a tow bar fitted in a couple of hours, and picking it up tomorrow and yes it's going to rain over the weekend so we can't go and play in it !

The only question I have and cannot get an answer on is.....

Can we tip it on its side in our garage? For storage as we have a full garage and ma Vespa and scooter in it it will be a nit cramped if we have to leave it on its wheels.   Obviously we will do so on bits of wood to save damaging it.

Any advise will be welcome.

Many thanks.

Hi,
We had a Montana and you could get a frame to turn it on it's side, but we didn't need it.
At least the trailer is pretty light I would think so resting on wood should be o.k. .
No idea what yours looks like underneath, on the montana there was two bits of square tube welded to the chassis where the two frames slide in, yours might have the same set up ?, the frames looked like 2 t's.
If you do turn it on it's side just make sure you ain't nipped the cover.

I have a comanche brochure & it looks like it is an option on the petit, look for the tubes as Andy said. You can buy side support brackets which slide in.

Suzi and Andy, thanks very much for your feedback, greatly appreciated.

I seem to be having problems getting dealers to answer emails.
