hi I posted a while ago asking for recommendations for movers. I seem to have narrowed down the options to the Powrwheel Evolution Single (manual) - £925 fully fitted or the Rhyno at £725. Obviously I would prefer to select the cheaper one, but just wondered if anyone had experience/ advice I should take account of. Many thanks.

We had a Rhyno on our folding camper which was then transferred to our caravan. Fitting was a bit of a farce as the battery box in ours couldn't be reached from the rear without dismantling the oven so we ended up having to have a second battery in the front locker. We paid through the nose for that plus extra for the drop plates needed for a folding camper (is that in your £725 I wonder?). It made various clunking noises when running and the rollers tended to slip trying to get up a small kerb even after I adjusted them a couple of times.

When we bought our second van recently we left the Rhyno on the old one and had an Evolution fitted (albeit with automatic actuation) and it certainly seems better built. I've not had any drop-outs from the handset and there are no clunking noises when it's running. Even though it's on a heavier van there's not been the tiniest bit of slipping when negotiating the kerb.

As you said though there's a big difference in cost. Personally in your position I'd go with the Evolution as I hear that the five year warranty is hassle free should a fault arise.

I have rhyno movers fitted to my 1999 Conway cruiser.
Had them for 3 years now and so far no problems at all.

The Davis family who post on here have a Reich Eco mover and we saw it in action, were very impressed and so are getting one fixed.

Hi

We have enduro 2 fitted to ours by purple line and they are great on the pathfinder.

£675 all in fitted at your house, we had ours done in April and the best thing we did makes life so easy

Cheers !

Ps the company that fitted ours is called towsure and you get 5 years parts and labour which made up our minds to go with them in the end and must say all impressed with the service.

I am sure there all much the same just up to you to pick !

Good luck and enjoy

Riech eco here on my pathfinder. Easy fit, no drop plates and pulls up a hefty slope.

Hi Kingsworthy, just wondering which choice you made in the end?
