Commmmonnn let's have a chat about them and shout their praises XXX easy to tow, doesn't take long to set up. 20 minutes at most and can have beer or wine in hand
OK. Then no we haven't got top volume. We haven't done anything to this one as we've only had it a month or so and compared with our last one its luxury. The last one we had was about 1985ish but still had some fantastic holidays and loved it. We only got rid of it cos we wanted a 3 berth so that we had the little table so when we travelling and the weather is not good then we have somewhere to eat without putting the bed away.
Yes, the extra table is great, and means you can leave the bed made up. We only get to do it when our DS is not with us though. Mind you we do have the putting the bed out and packing it up again down to a fine art now. I leave the van and DH does it.
hey. i have 3 berth too. don't think it's a top volume though. had it a couple of months but haven't been out with it yet (long story). found rotten wall on the kitchen side and was gonna fix it last weekend to go on first trip this weekend. thing is dug a little deeper and bang- rotten floor on back and front ends, and rotten walls in 3 of the 4 lower corners!!! possible delaminated floor too. which was nice. if i could figure out how to add pictures from my iphone i'd slap them up.
Oh no what bad luck. Hope you manage to fix it. The Esterel Club may be a good place to check for help with repairs. It isn't a very active site, but there are old posts you can look at for advice.
You can only add photographs from a hosting site, such as Photobucket. Have a look at this thread for how to do it. You can also have a practice in there if you want to.
This isn't our one, but this is a top volume model
Hi we have Casita 2 birth folding Caravan, we bought it has a project, nothing worked, so I sorted the electrics, got the fridge working, and the next job is to fix the spongy delaminated floor! It never ends but we love it!
We're picking up our 3 berth Esterel tomorrow morning - we can't wait! I'd never heard of them until a friend bought one in summer and I actually timed her putting it up (2 minutes 48 seconds!). I suspect with kids and dog in tow we won't be quite as slick but it'll be nice having the extra space after a number of years of campervanning.
Hi all ESTEREL FOLDING CARAVAN OWNERS.
Ive had our 1994 Caramatic For about 2 years now one of the best holiday purchases Made . It came with an awning which we use for longer stays ,but for the odd weekend got aSunncamp Rotunde Porch fits perfect easy to put up just 2 upright poles and crossbar to clip in and pull peg out even in stron wind no problem. Tip Slide awning into rail before raising back and front of caravan. Hope to see some esterels on sites. next year. Ken &Barb.
