further to the advice given other replies, to replace the 12v with 240v sockets the wiring would need replacing, as most campers are unaware caravans and campers, come under the IEE regs for wiring installations which is now the law,for example the sockets cabling would have to be installed correctly with the appropriate safety control gear, ie rcd,mcb,etc if you look at new fc,s you will see all the control switches etc that is due to the new law, one part of the law says installer must be competent, by way the question was asked,dont touch. get a caravan maintenance engineer or electrician, over 40 years in trade and ive seen some right dangerous lash ups and some close escapes, hope that helps
