hi just bought a conway ascot and would like to be able to take our bikes with us, please can anybody recomend a way of doing this? can i buy a rack for the trailer tent?

Hi'a we use a tow bar fitted bike carrier for our 2 bikes, you can get them to carry up to 4 bikes, they do not obstruct your rear mirrow view, easy to fit just unbolt the tow ball and fit the bottom bracket behind the tow ball it acts as bumper protecter aswell.Hope this helps.

burkey58 what do you tow with and what is the noseweight of your vehicle, I have a maxxraxx and a Vauxhall antara with a nose weight of 80kg I have enquired at the tow bar manufacturers and they say will be absolutely fine the towbar nose rating 150kg however Vauxhall and antara forums all say it is a no no as the antara is only 80kg nose weight will only be carrying 2 adult bikes

be carefull with the behind towball racks like the maxxraxx or the witter ZX range

Trailer tents tend to have shorter drawbars than folding campers or caravans , and these tend to be shortened further with boxes, ie behind a kia Sedona with a Conway trailer tent the witter wont work

you can get over the top bike racks for the older Conway range normally on E-Bay but generally these are like rocking horse droppings and up to £100ish
