We have got ours in the garage, we have put it in ourselves a few times, then we had movers fitted as ours has to pass the electricity and gas meter boxes, and our driveway is slightly sloped. Due to the design of our utillty room we have ours going in hitch first also. With the movers its fairly easy to put in until the wheels are in the garage, then we disengage the movers then push it the rest of the way in. We did have to remove metal stoppers down each side to stop the door from coming in as the sides are mm's away from the camper when it goes in. It's tight but once its clear of the door you're fine.
We kept the crusader in the garage, but we put some big side hinges on the up and over door and took the up and over side mechanism out to give us a bit more room...our drive slopes up towards the garage and there was a small step up too, so it was hard work getting it in without banging it, but we managed with the two of us doing it.
We've got a Pathfinder Q6 which 'should' go in the garage according to measurements. Haven't tried it yet though. Think we need to this winter as it stood on the drive last winter. We removed the mattresses, cushions, curtains, canopy etc and put it all in the spare room which was a right performance!
My pathfinder just fitted in through the standard up and over door. It wasnt easy even with the motor mover fitted as we have a slope on our drive. I have just had a roller door fitted and it now goes in and out as easy as anything as they remove the frame and fit runners behind the pillars giving an extra 4 inches of gap.
