Can anybody help I am trying to replace the front compartment barrel lock assembly for my trigano lifestyle 575 lx but having great difficulty in sourcing a replacement unit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any pictures, the more the better ? What the problem and why does it need replacing ?

Im an ex locksmith so should be able to help.

Hi Lockie have Sussed it pics are in my gallery.

The dimensions are length excluding latch bracket 48mm

Girth including thread 20mm

That picture looks like it was taken on seventies film !

I think it's a standard cam lock. Basically the same as used on lockers etc. take it into a local locksmiths and they should have a replacement in metal. Use the original cam lever ( the bit on the right). You may have to bend it a little if the new barrel is a little longer or shorter.

If you get stuck I'll sort one out.

Adding your location helps too as I may be able to recommend someone near you.
