I have booked a super pitch in a few weeks both general and awning areas are concrete with the awning area having hardcore for pegging on the outskirts, has anybody still used there underbed skirts and have any of you got any hints and tips on pitching.
Only ever set up on a super pitch once when the site "upgraded me". Never again!! Fine for the camper but very hard work with the skirts and awning. Even bent a couple of rock pegs trying to get them into the hardcore with a club hammer.
In my opinion, for a Pathfinder, either don't bother with the skirts/awning or swap to a pitch with grass awning area.

Just remembered, last week whilst away I saw a couple of Pathfinders on hard standing caravan pitches. Both had bedskirts fitted but both skirts were flapping like crazy in the wind as they couldn't peg them down. Seemed like a total waste of time fitting them as they provided no protection and were very noisy. Maybe the partial collapse of their porch awning for the same reason stopped them from noticing the bed skirts.
As Lobey says - go for grass. Nothing to be gained on a super pitch.
