We have the roof bars that can fit on top if our Trigano camper and are thinking about getting a roof box so we can do overnight stops and keep the awning in the roof box out of the way until we need it. Seen, this http://www.1roofbox.co.uk/md5-350-l-all-black,3.html
Can't find any reviews though, has anyone bought one of these, good price but don't want to buy a complete duffer!

Due to the low level of a FC have a look at the Fiamma UltraBox range, they do both 400lt and 520lt. unlike a RoofBox for a car they are more box shape, in fact they are designed for MotorHome/caravan use.

In fact we have the Fiamma UltraBox3 on top of our Trailer, we used to have the Fiamma UltraBox2 which I keep meaning to put up for sale on here for £50 if you are interested, it comes with all the fittings and 2 keys.

Hi Francais, your Fiamma box sounds good but we're in Suffolk and I imagine postage would be really expensive!

Yep karee5.
No worries, that is a little far to post, and like any used RoofBox it is best to view first.

The Fiamma UltraBox's often come up on EBay, got both mine that way.

And the Fiamma UltraBox 3 that we use now came from just 5 miles away, a chap who was trading in his MotorHome.

It is the exact same shape as the UltraBox2 just a bit longer.

They stopped doing the UltraBox1 around 10 years ago, at just 280lt It used to be the smallest of the 3 models.

This is the link to 1roofbox.co.uk.

The box itself looks OK.

I'm just slightly puzzled as to whether they are affiliated with the well regarded roofbox.co.uk, or whether they are attempting to trade on their name and rep, by simply putting a "1" in front of the URL.

It may be, of course, that they really wanted the words "roof box" along with a UK domain, and putting a 1 in front got them it.

Just strikes me as odd, but I'm always up for a grassy knoll conspiracy theory

We use a roof box on the car not the unit. We made that decision when we had a mover fitted, there's a lot of weight in them things so to compensate we put the awning in the roof box to keep within the weight limits. You might think of the towing characteristics and how they might be altered with a box on the trailer. I'm over 6 feet tall so I suppose it's quite easy for me to use the car box.
