A serviced pitch means you do not need to fetch water or trundle the waste water to a drain.
But at £90 I would be expecting a Butler to do all that for me!
That is seriously expensive if it's for one night. As the other guys have said, it includes certain services directly provided to the pitch. Fresh water and waste are the two most common, but some serviced pitches also have TV aerial points as well.
Sorry guy's should have said that is for 1 week, it is the Chacewater Park, Cornwall and I think it is a special price for the over 50s, so I am well in. Thanks for clarifying it for me.

Ah that makes all the differance, live life to the full, gor for fully serviced.
:-)
But if you do go for fully serviced, take the necessary equipment to be able to use it.
IE, A cistern system for your aquaroll were you connect the on pitch water to. And the hose you will need from the aquaroll to the tap.
Also take enough waste hose to connect from your van's waste outlet to the drain.
As you will not know beforehand how far away either of these facilities are, take plenty.
Certainly the first time we came across a "fully serviced pitch" we had none of the necessary equipment but is was so easy just to fill the aquaroll right next to our unit.
Emptying the waste was a bit more tricky because the drains on the pitch were only wide enough to take a waste hose and ofcourse waste water out of the wastemaster tends to come out fast and gurgles a bit.
But like all camping/caravanning, its all a learning curve and you have to experience these things before you decide whether they are for you or not.
Seems a bit pointless for the sake of a tap,and I prefer to sleep away from drains. It would be more suitable for caravans, not proper units like the Venus.

The best Service pitch I have seen was down on a British Riveria caravan park. There was a field for families, field for adults, field for nudists (High hedge) field of statics, family bathrooms as well as the usual shower loo blocks . All the pitches were in tiers up a hill with an extra shower block at the top. all pitches had hard standing for the van and car with flaked slate for awning. The Deluxe pitch had a picket fence round with a drainage chanel EHU and water post which also had wifi and tv connections You could use the aqua roll float system for water, in the left hand corner of the pitch was a flushing toilet without seat for emptying van soil tank this was surrounded by a picket fence and gate. You would be surprised how many kids during day used them for a visit, But also the amount of adults using the same at night. It was not an unusual sight to see some one sitting on the loo having a smoke when we where walking back from site club and bar they had privacy from about the lower chest down as it was dark but next to nothing when stood up. lucky we had a rain free week their fag would have got wet.
The best fully serviced pitches site we have seen was in the former Yugoslavia about 30 years ago!!!!
Each 5 vans were spaced around a circle of beautifully mown grass and in the centre was a large plastic mushroom, under the cap of which you pulled out your EHU and Water Hose etc all coiled on drums.
Under there also was waste hose and TV sockets.
The best fully serviced i've heard of was in france. own electric, water and drainage as everyone mentions, but also own loo/shower block/house to yourself!!
