Our TT is a 15 year old suncamp 250. We would love to extend it slightly but know that suncamp don't make canopys :(
does anyone know of any other TT canopys that would fit on/over or even if a caravan awning would somehow fit? We have looked at tent porches/canopys too but they don't tend to be high enough..

has anyone made something to add on or have a tarpaulin type set up when you are camping for a little extra space?

Give Tent Valeting Services a ring and ask them about their Universal Sun Canopy for Conway trailer tents. I have one for my Conway Camargue and it comes with a frame with two types of fixing point, I suspect there's a lot of tolerance in how it attaches and the Sunncamp design is very similar to the classic Conway TTs. You will probably need to be able to quote the front width of your TT and what the front is...stub canopy (wee canopy overhanging the front) or flat front with spikes up through the roof. You'll also need tie points on the top side corners of the front and also at the ridge, Conways have three plastic D rings at these points but you may have guying attachments you could use.

I found it the single best buy EVER for my TT, I hope it fits yours. You probable won't get to choose the colour though, when I bought mine I was told they were using odd end rolls of Conway canvas to make them. I was incredibly lucky though, the Camarge is grey/maroon and I got...a grey canopy with maroon trim. Looked great!

I have the smaller version for my Venus,no frame,just 3 king poles,TVS did a great job.

I was only looking yesterday for something like this for my 15 year old sunncamp! Went to 2 camping stores no luck.. Thanks people I shall look into this.

Wow! I cant believe it - this is the same tent as us and exactly what we want yet have been told by various shops that they just dont make them! Can i ask, how long ago they did this for you? I will get on to Sunflare!

we got the trailer brand new about 2000 and had it a year or so before we got the canopy we got it from the dealers that supplied the TT and apparently it was an off the shelf canopy

Thanks for the info - be interesting to see if they still do it as they are 1998 models!! Ive just had a good look on ebay too - no one selling by the look of it :(
