Beg to differ .... we had a grand infestation .... cleared it with Sudbury Stain and Mildew Cleaner (American .... made for cleaning sailing boat sails) ... the canvas came up like new .... has been great for four years since the treatment,
I would be very happy to be proven wrong on that one, as it could make me a lot of money!!! lol
What about water proofing though? Every other treatment I've come across compromises waterproofing, and it then needs to be done every year. That's not a problem if you're already doing it, but, in some cases, where the staining is not so bad, and / or hidden, I would rather not have to start regular proofing if I don't have to yet. Any problems with this in the 4 years since it was treated, or were you already doing it regularly?
