We had the reich move control eco easy fitted to our pathfinder at the beginning of the year, it does not need drop plates, has a manual cross actuation bar which can be engaged/ disengaged from either side, we put ours into the garage hitch first, this also means that we can disengage at the garage door, and push it in the last bit, and the battery box is accessible also to release the isolater switch and put in the charge cable for topups whilst in the garage.

Had a Crusader (same as pathfinder) and I fitted a motor mover to it. No problem at all and no drop plates needed.

I just fitted the mk1 powatouch to a pennine pathfinder 99 with no drop plates or mods and they work like a dream

Hope all is well, we had enduro 2 fitted to our pathfinder and it moved it well no issues at all.

Just had the powrtouch Classic fitted to the van and the unit and controller are a little flasher with speed control and battery lights so very impressed although they were a little more.

As said the enduro 2 worked well on the pathfinder if you are looking for some movers !

Looking forward to our tin top outing although towed it home the other day and at 23ft just over noticed a slight difference !

You don't have to have the isolater switch in the battery box!
You could have it fitted on the opposite side either in a flush outlet box or maybe located inside door to camper.
I work for a caravan dealer and we have located the switch in many different places
