Anyone know which model this Raclet trailer tent is? Hard top, legs drop down and folds out 2 double beds with awning in front as well. beds level to each other. This is the same one that was sold on Ebay recently. Cannot see any other anywhere online or on Raclet pages. There is a metal plate that has Raclet VGHCP6120000 on it in ink then has the numbers 92324 imprinted into the metal. Only has the name Raclet on the side, nothing else.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RACLET-TRAILER-TENT-/331300116494?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=boF9tsD31rl4zsHsGGSmhv%252BA4oA%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Anyone know any more? what the actual model is.
Thanks in advance any help.

sounds like a Solena to me although i haven't seen one that age to say for sure and it may have been called something different back then...you could try contacting one of the dealers to see if they can shed any light.

It's not a Solena, that's only got one double bed and doesn't have a kitchen. Is it a Quickstop? I think they have soft tops now, but a forerunner might not have done, and they do have the swing out kitchen.

All the best,

Seems to be the same layout as the quick stop but like i say with the hard top that opens up like a pram hood to make the second bed and legs drop below to support the fibre glass hood. All looks still fairly newish and good condition. Opens up 2 double beds with the space in the middle & storage. and the pull out kitchen. Maybe it was just an option at the time to have a hard top or soft top? Gonna try to get away in it this weekend. take some fotos. That is if we get it up OK. Had A conway before this. Hopefully not too much different.

Its not a quickstop, they dont have any skirts attached around the main camper body, hence quickstop as there is no need to do any pegging at all if just using the main body. Quickstops also have braked trailers, doesnt look like that one is braked but hard to tell from the photos...

To me it looks like the standard type of fold out trailer tent that they did, like the tribune, herald, marathon etc etc but with a hard top on it.

I have a huge amount of instruction manuals for Raclets, if you want to look through them all you might find the exact model.

Raclet did have different names for the same model in diffrerent countries for some of the earlier ones....

Looking at photos its a bit of a wierd model, for a start the side of the unit are higher than nommal, which means that inside the beds are raised above the height of the bench seats rather than being level.

Apart from that though it still seems to have the same layout as the rest of the standard Raclet range..

Also just to follow up on the quickstop suggestions.......quickstops all have an additional "bench" running accross the front edge of the cabin where the cooker/sink unit can be placed.....but its a moot point as with the skirts coming down to the ground and requiring pegging its a trailer tent, not a folding camper and the quickstops are folding campers.

Looks like you have a nice, rare to the UK, trailer tent to enjoy!

Hi there,
I can't be too much help but I can say that the model you have comes from the late 80's-early 90s as my uncle had a quickstop from 1989 which he gave to me in 2009 and the Lagon was also in the brochure that came with it. The trailer colour and graphics were also the same.

Unfortunately I dont have the brochure (or trailer) anymore but I remember that the lagon was pretty much the top model.
