Hi Lianne,
Welcome to the UKCS! You'll always get plenty of help on this great site so don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you think them silly, as they probably are'nt!!
I started off with a TT Conway Camborne. Lots of room as the awning is pretty big, comfort of not sleeping on the ground, takes a bit of time and practice to get a TT up but it's not that bad.
Due to having back problems, I fairly soon found out that sitting in an awning in the evenings sometimes getting chilly and perhaps a bit damp, was playing havoc with my back. We had to re-think so now we have a FC Conway Cruiser.
If your budget will go to a new TT you could probably get a good secondhand FC for the same money. Have a good look at both. FCs have the advantage that you don't have to put the awning up and you can just use the main unit. They are also quicker to put up too even with the awning.
As eskimosailer says, think about where you can store your unit. I keep my Cruiser on the drive all winter although if any sunny weather appears we quickly put it up so it can have an airing! We've had some pretty awful weather here but the canvas is fine.
Hope this helps and good luck with your search. Hope you get your ideal outfit.
Sandy
