Well that's it!! Our first season as FC owners is almost over. Just one more camp left next week and we will be putting it to bed for winter.

We bought a brand new Conway Crusader from the camping and caravan show last November, had our first trip away in it in March and by next week we will have taken it out 10 times in 8 months!! We have learnt by our mistakes (a few but nothing serious) and have endured a very windy night in Abersoch where I was shaken about all night long!

I can honestly say its been brilliant!!  Thanks to everyone on here who has answered any queires we have had and I look forward to the same again next year!!

Hi,My husband and I spoke to a couple at the NEC today looking at the folding campers, who matched your message above when telling us about there experiences this last year.
We were un-decided about purchasing a camper but after chatting to a few people at the show, and remembering our own holiday memories from owning a conway cruiser previously , we have bit the bullet and have purchased a countryman, collection in december. Hoping we have a mild winter as cant wait to try it out

Think I may have been one of the people you spoke to today. (Pennine Owners Club stand).

We just had our Pathfinder a year. We are going away for a few days at October half term and then putting it to bed after that. We have enjoyed our year but probably more my husband than me. It has had to grow on me whereas my husband loved it from the off. I mourned the loss of our tent - a Bear Lake 6 which I adored. I always hoped that when we moved on from a tent, we'd get a caravan so my husband's refusal to get a caravan and wanting to buy a folding camper was quite a shock!Getting a porch awning was a great move although when we have the full awning on for longer stays, I love the space. Being in our 50s and using adult only sites, we would often be the only tent on a site. Now we find we are often the only folding camper on a site! We've now joined the Pennine Owners club and hope to attend a meet or two next year so can meet other owners.
