Hello

Does somebody have any details on the Raclet quickstop 2015?
I've seen it in a show and was considering buying it but I am quite confused. The show dealer did not seem to be able to anwser to my questions about the model and Raclet does not include this model in ther website which I find quite strange and makes me unconfident about buying this model wich seems to be a mysterious prototype.

Will appreciate your comments!

Hi there.

Not 100% sure what the confusion is. The Quickstop is a very common model, and is included in the current range, and, also, on the Raclet web site. Like a lot of suppliers, Raclet are previewing next year's models at their shows (I know Pennine are with theirs at this week's NEC show) so I would have thought it logical that this is what's happening with the Quickstop.

Could be wrong, but it all sounds like normal practice to me, unless there's something I'm missing. Might be worth speaking to Burcroft Camping, in Northampton. They're closed for the Winter season now, but I believe they may still be open for phone / internet business, so worth a try, as they're a new Raclet dealer. They're on; 01604 785400.

Just Safari, Panama and Solena.

Interestingly, it would appear that the problem is that you are looking at the international (.com) website, whereas I'm looking at the UK one; http://www.raclet.co.uk/Quickstop.html

No idea what the significance of that is, unless the Quickstop is a UK only model, but it's certainly one I've seen around a lot, so I wouldn't worry on that score too much. It is slightly worrying, however, that the dealer couldn't help you at all. Maybe worth calling one of the dealers in the link above. Hopefully they will be more use than the one at the show.

I agree Blue Pennine but if you follow link on UK website to download the recognised Raclet brochure presumably for all dealerships everywhere ... it doesn't include the Quickstop. Odd.

I know. Very strange. Definitely worth a word with the dealers, I think.

Just spoken to Burcroft. The Quickstop is a UK only product, and, as the brochures are all produced in Europe, it's not included in them.

Burcroft are, however, actively selling them, as I'm sure are all the other UK dealers.

Thanks my friends!
That must be the problem. I am currently living in Spain so not able to buy in UK.
The quickstop I was at the Caravaning fair at Barcelona was possibly the one announced in the UK site .

There's only one dealer in Spain and seems to have as little info as I do.

If any of you own a 2014/15 quickstop it will be great if you post some pics.

Thanks!

That explains why they couldn't help you. I'm at the Motorhome and Caravan show at the NEC today and tomorrow. I asked Burcroft for a brochure, but they're all produced centrally in Europe, so, daft as it sounds, doesn't look like they actually have a brochure for them. He said I could check it out on their stand at the show though, and I'm guessing that will be the actual model you're after, so will take some pics today for you.

So kind of you, Pennine!

I am looking for info and pics on skirts for the raclet (independent of awning which I think I won't buy by the moment). Also about the kitchen offered.

The trailer I saw as 2015 model had no zippers for skirts which was odd. The spanish dealer told me today that Raclet is sorting a skirt for this new model without zippers and will be available in Easter.

Still not too much info. Need more details before buying. It looks like a cool trailer but still feel the French brands (Cabanon., Trigano and Raclet) offer so little details on their products.

Been to the show today. Took a load of pics, for you, and a video. They didn't have the basic Quickstop, only the Quickstop SE, but they did have the Quickstop kitchen there for comparison purposes. Will work out the best way to upload the content in the next day or so, so you can check it out.

Hi folks, just a comment about the Raclet Quickstop; l had one and changed it for Pennine Sterling. They don't do a skirt for this model as it is part of the Awning and clips on the side with fixed press studs, the bed in these are great, down side is living area is small and cramped, without the awning
